These works are part of a series of pieces meant to explore the sensory notions of gender, stereotype, and the cultural and social norms that influence them. Working with local photographer, Blaine Sasser, her third trimester gave Cory Weeks a unique opportunity to use her own body as a medium in exploring the perceptions of the masculine as blended with the uniquely female notion of carrying a child, reflecting the stereotypical perceptions of male as provider.
